What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Thanks for coming back to read my well overdue blog update.. Hope you've all stayed safe during this crazy pandemic, Ive been super busy, hence the reason I just couldn't find the time to type up a new blog addition.

It only seems right to talk a little bit about what ive been up to these past few months.

Well I started the first week by hiding away from the world in the safety of my own home, thanking my lucky stars that I had resigned from my food retail job just a few weeks earlier, can you imagine what all the poor retail workers had to endure in recent months, we were told, don't panic buy, everything will be restocked within days or worst case we'd have to wait a week.. but did we listen.. no, in fact im guilty of it to, heading out only for essentials but then being suckered into purchasing something random in a tin that i've never used before in my life, because, well just incase.

I was making the most of people stuck at home, scrolling constantly through social media, and was aiming to help some of them improve on their homecooking skills.. and of course the bonus was that my instagram page and website was getting more traffic, wonderful!! I even got a phone call from my local radio station BBCEssex and they asked me to speak one week and talk through how lockdown had changed peoples interest in home cooking, great.. now im really getting somewhere.. there I was posting delicious pictures of food and recipes of all the wonderful things id been enjoying whilst not having to worry about the world outside my front door, chatting to a local station about all my tasty cooking tips, and it hit me.... how many key workers were coming across my pictures or listening to me on the radio whilst having a short well deserved break midway through a 12hour shift, battling to keep the country on its feet...? Thats when I knew I had to do something different, I had to help.

And so I began batch cooking for my local NHS.. for 10 weeks combined with another local lady called Heena that ran a lovely supper club at her house before covid hit, we cooked 60 meals to hopefully fuel our local heroes.

I feel so proud to be able to say we sent out 600 meals between us, lots of cakes and even mini pamper packages on the very last cook, and it was all down to the kindness of friends, family and strangers donating out of their own pockets. When I look back in a few years I will be able to pat myself on the back and say that used my platform from the Best Home Cook competition to really make a difference, it just didn't feel right to just use the time to promote myself or my social media hubs. Thankfully for the NHS and all key workers for me there will be plenty of time for that in the future.

Of course I've still been posting recipes and videos over the last few months but not with the full energy I usually have, I hope to concentrate more on that now and also.. I promise to update my blog my regularly..

Thank you for reading...
